EV s200 / sx200 / sx300 - mid-scale FX spk or low-end FOH spk. s200's are owned by a lot of hire companies but are no longer produced.

The sx200 is slightly bigger version.

The sx300 are considerably larger & louder.

They are all capable of being flown, and also tripod mounted.

EV s40 - small-ish spot FX speaker. Mid-cost solution.

FX Speakers

Shows with a good budget can often afford to use speakers seen on the FOH speakers page for FX. Where budget or size constraints dictates otherwise the speakers here are often used.

d&b E3 & Meyer UPM -

Both small sized speakers with high power and quality output. Popular as Front Fill, Under Balcony Fills, FX & even as Pros spk's on low-level shows.

About the same size as a JBL Control 1, but sounding much closer to an E3 with reduced bass. Often used in conjunction with sub-bass speakers to form a high-quality yet discreet surround system.
